I had a wonderful appointment yesterday at Upper Westside Optical.I really liked Dr.Hyde and everyone working there was helpful and kind. All my questions and concerns were dealt with and I was very impressed with the array of frames featured there. So many styles and colors to choose from...I had a ball!! My glasses will be ready in about 3 weeks. I highly recommend them. I have to admit I hadn't had an eye exam for a few years. ..So glad I had them checked yesterday...As we get older it's best to be on top of these things .BRAVO!!!

I accidentally sat on my glasses and completely mangled one side where it was standing perpendicular! I walked into Upper West Side Optical and was greeted promptly. I showed them my frames and they were candid - they may not be able to fix based on the delicate metal. But the alternative was to not be able to use them. So I said let’s take the risk. The lovely gentleman took care to heat up the frame and gently tried to move the frame back into place. He was able to make my frames look good as new within 2 minutes, at no charge. After such a depressing week it’s so nice to experience the generosity of others. I said I will give them a rave review! I’ll definitely go there next time I need new frames!

Diana and Gene were extremely kind and helpful when we came to their store desperately needing contact lenses for our son, who forgot to pack his contact lenses, while here in NYC for a five-day vacation.
